Rocca di Papa is a small town in the province of Rome, Lazio, Italy. It is one of the “Castelli Romani-Roman Castels”,a group of small medieval villages  about 25 km south east of Rome on the Alban Hills.

It is bounded by other characteristic towns such as Frascati,Castel Gandolfo, Monte Porzio, Grottaferrata, Albano, Ariccia and Marino.

The Castelli Romani due their name to the presence of at least a noble mansion in each of them and even if some of these mansions were destroyed during past historical events, their ruins are still witnessing the feudal origin of this zone.

Our B&B is family run but provides our hosts with an indipendent set of rooms, privacy guarantee...just like a private apartment!

We will be happy to provide you with all the informations about the city of Rome and countryside, arrange trips and give you cultural and gastronomic suggestions.

Transport:

At 10 minutes walking distance there is a Cotral blue bus(one every hour) that will take you in 40 minutes to Terminal A “Anagnina” metro/subway station, from there it will take 20 minutes to arrive to the center of Rome.

Anyhow, the ideal way to visit Castelli Romani would be to rent a car and be self-sufficient as italian public transport is not very reliable.
